We understand that it may not always be feasible for you to bring your animal into the clinic. Our vets are more than happy to visit your pet at home to provide consultation and/or administer treatment.
We can come to you!
Home visits can be beneficial for nervous pets who may not take well to being transported to a new environment. The physical state of your pet, for example immobility, may also make them difficult to transport. Should we find that your pet’s case is severe, we can then help you transport your pet back to the clinic for treatment.
Our veterinarians are also experienced in caring for livestock animals, including large and small ruminants, pigs, horses and poultry. We offer farm visits to provide livestock farmers with prompt and proficient veterinary assistance. Our farm visit services include:
- Animal health management. This involves diagnosis, testing, administration of treatments and vaccinations and the development of disease prevention plans.
- Breeding management. This involves developing a breeding plan, artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis and obstetric and neonatal care.
- Developing feeding plans for optimal nutrition and feed efficiency
- Surgery, dehorning and hoof trimming
